Tandem skydiving with Skydive Australia was an ineffable experience! This adventure is a must-try where you will be jumping from an airplane that is around 15,000 feet above sea level and carving through the clouds towards the pristine Wollongong’s North Beach, while being strapped to a well-experienced tandem skydiving instructor. You’ll be experiencing freefall for around 50-60 seconds before the parachute is deployed and you glide back down.

Hang gliding came to our mind when we were wondering what was next after our ineffable tandem skydiving experience and we finally ended up having a fantabulous hang gliding experience with HangglideOZ! Tandem hang gliding is where you and your experienced hang gliding instructor will be hooked into the glider together. You both will then jump off a cliff, glide for as long as your instructor would like to, by taking advantage of the wind and then safely land onto the designated landing spot. You’ll enjoy a magnificent birds-eye view of the world beneath you during your hang gliding adventure that cannot be expressed in words!

You will be taking off from either the Bald Hill Lookout Reserve in Stanwell Park or Port Kembla Lookout Hill 60, depending on the wind direction on the day of your experience; we took off from Port Kembla Lookout.
